HitecVision announces the strengthening of its investment team.
HitecVision strengthens its organisation by adding further experience and entrepreneurship from the energy sector outside of oil and gas. Toril Nag will join our investment team as a Senior Partner.
Toril is currently Group Executive Vice President of telecom at Lyse AS, which in addition to being one of Norway’s largest hydropower producers, has during her tenor become one of the leading Norwegian fiber and mobile broadband infrastructure suppliers through the Altibox and Ice brands. She has been responsible for many of Lyse’s strategic holdings, and has held several positions in industrial and public organisations and committees, including being long-standing chairperson of Norwegian digital tech industry organisation ICT-Norway.
Toril has worked within the infrastructure and telecom sectors since 1990, and originally joined Lyse in 2001. From 2006 to 2011 she held management positions in banking (Danske Bank) and audit (KPMG) before rejoining Lyse to develop different business areas through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.
HitecVision has over the past 20 years established or contributed to the development and growth of over 150 companies, primarily within oil and gas. We are now using our capital, experience and network to invest in the energy transition. All new investments and funds will be outside the oil and gas sector, targeting companies that contribute to the transition to renewable energy and novel energy solutions.
