Investment Focus

HitecVision invests in entrepreneurship in the European energy sector. Our team focuses on developing companies that help drive the energy transition, such as energy producers, infrastructure owners and specialist service providers to the industry.

HitecVision looks to invest in companies or business ideas with strong growth potential, large capital requirements and the ability to reach a substantial size and self-financed growth, within the context of the transition to a low-carbon future. Our equity investment will normally be between EUR 150-500 million over the time of our investment. If more capital is required, we are able to source that through our network.

We often participate in the establishment of new companies, or start investing in companies when they are in early stages. If the company develops as planned, we will follow up with further investments throughout our ownership period. We structure investments with a view to combine capital preservation with equity return upside potential.

Successful companies will most often have the capacity to generate significant cash flows in the later part of our ownership period, which may be distributed or reinvested in further growth.
