Vår Energi AS has today been awarded 10 new licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, in the Awards in Predefined Areas licensing round for 2020. Five of these licenses will be operated by Vår Energi.
“We are pleased with the result. Vår Energi continues to strengthen the position in attractive areas, and the new licenses and operatorships will provide us with many exciting opportunities”, says Vår Energi CEO, Kristin F. Kragseth.
The licenses were awarded by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE) today.
Vår Energi has reserves and resources of more than 1,900 million barrels of oil equivalent on the NCS. Exploration is a key part of Vår Energi’s future organic business growth.
