Ocean Installer has been awarded contracts for subsea installations and tie-in operations for Statoil on Johan Sverdrup, Oseberg Vestflanken and Gina Krog.
The contract awards, with a total value of about NOK 200 million, constitute a significant portion of Statoil’s planned subsea construction work on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for the 2017 season.
– We are truly pleased to have secured these contracts with Statoil in today’s highly competitive market. The awards will contribute to maintaining a good activity level for the Ocean Installer organisation also for next year, and is an opportunity for Ocean Installer to further develop our solid working relationship with Statoil, says Ocean Installer CEO Steinar Riise.
Project management and engineering will be based at Ocean Installer’s headquarter in Stavanger and will commence with immediate effect. Offshore operations will take place in Q2 and Q3 2017, using a combination of Ocean Installer’s large state-of-the-art construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Vision, and the smaller CSV Normand Mermaid.
