Noreco: Brage well tested more than 17,000 barrels per day

Stavanger, 25th February 2008:
Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) announced today the successful completion of a well on the North flank of the Brage field in Norway, carried out by the operator StatoilHydro. The well has been tested to a stable rate of more than 17,000 barrels per day, which represents over 2,100 barrels per day net to Noreco. The well was handed over to production on 16th February 2008, and adds significant production and reserves to the Brage field.
