London, 1st October 2008: The Board of Noble Denton today announces the appointment of John Wishart as Group Managing Director Designate, Noble Denton.
John Wishart, previously President, North America, Technip will succeed David Sutton on 1st January 2009. Mr Wishart, himself a chartered engineer, has enjoyed success in a diverse range of executive, project, technical, operational and commercial management roles in both the contracting and operating sectors. He brings extensive international experience and will be returning to London to take up his new leadership role.
Mr. Teck Soon Kong, Chairman, Noble Denton said: “John’s appointment follows a rigorous selection process by the Nominations Committee to find a strong, charismatic leader who will not only deliver our aggressive growth targets but also direct the company through the IPO process.”
Mr Sutton will continue his long association with Noble Denton assuming the role of Director of Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions after a three-month handover period.
