NCA awarded major contract for GoM hurricane removals

Chevron Corporation has awarded NCA Inc. a contract for cutting services in the Gulf of Mexico, following Rita and Katrina hurricane damages in 2005. The work will involve all kinds of cutting related to offshore well and platform removals, including cutting of wells, platform decks, jackets, and risers. The project will start in April and is expected to have a peak during summer 2006 with 4 parallel well and marine operations, involving an offshore crew of more than 50 persons.
