Over the past two years, Hafslund Celsio has undergone a significant transformation, reestablishing the company and its processes within Hafslund amidst a challenging economic landscape. The company is now entering a new phase, with a key focus on potential investment decisions and the construction of Norway’s first carbon capture facility at a waste incineration plant.
Established in 2022, Hafslund Vekst has grown under Lundby’s leadership into a thriving business area with over 60 employees and a strong ownership portfolio. To further enhance the potential of Hafslund’s strategy in the customer market, Knut Inderhaug will step in as the new CEO of Hafslund Vekst. Meanwhile, Martin S. Lundby, who currently leads Hafslund Vekst, will transition to the role of CEO of Hafslund Celsio. Lundby brings a deep understanding of the district heating business, having led the acquisition process for Hafslund in 2022.
“With this leadership change, both the district heating and growth sectors will be in capable hands. I am grateful for the outstanding work Knut and Martin have done in Celsio and Vekst, respectively,” says Finn Bjørn Ruyter, Group CEO of Hafslund.
The changes will take effect on September 1st.
