CapeOmega AS has today announced that the company has entered into a sales and purchase agreement with DEA Norge AS for the sale of DEA’s participating interest in Gassled, comprising the following:
- POLARLED 482 kilometre dry gas pipeline from Aasta Hansteen field to Nyhamna plant. DEA Norge share, to be acquired by CapeOmega: 4.7910%.
- NYHAMNA Onshore gas processing plant located at the south end of Polarled pipeline in Aukra, Norway. DEA Norge share, to be acquired by CapeOmega: 1.0649%
- GASSLED Norway Gas Transportation Network with export routes to the United Kingdom and continental Europe. DEA Norge share, to be acquired by CapeOmega: 0.0810% (includes Zeepipe Terminal 0.03946% and Dunkerque Terminal 0.05234%
The effective date of the transaction is 1st January 2018 and is conditional on the approval of the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and the Norwegian Ministry of Finance.
