Align AS has agreed to acquire Origo Engineering AS. Origo’s broad engineering and control systems competence will compliment the existing offering of Align subsidiary Bjørge Safety Systems AS (BSS), and the two companies will be merged following the acquisition, under the new name Origo Solutions AS. The combined company will be an attractive player within the control and safety systems both in Norway and internationally. The company will be active throughout the value chain from initial studies and engineering to project delivery and service/aftermarket. Origo Solutions will have about 75 employees, and expects revenues of approximately NOK 150 million (USD 25 million) for 2011.
The acquisition is expected to close during February 2011.
