Aker Capital new owner in Noreco

Stavanger, July 17th 2007:
Aker Capital AS, a subsidiary of Aker ASA, has invested NOK 300 million in Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) and contributed NOK 150 million in a convertible bond loan to the company. Following the transactions Aker Capital holds 15% of the shares in Noreco.
