HitecVision originally invested in Pure Group AS, formed by Statoil and HitecVision with the vision to create an international industrial group based on technology originally developed for use on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

In October 2007 Pure Group merged with TORR Canada Inc., now named ProSep Inc., and HitecVision divested parts of its shareholding. The rest of the shareholding was divested in 2009.

The ProSep Group supplies advanced, proprietary process technologies for purification of oil, gas and water to the petroleum industry from eight locations throughout the world. The group has over 100 skilled employees world wide.
