Agility Subsea Fabrication AS has signed a contract with FMC Subsea Kongsberg AS for delivery of several complete underwater manifold systems. It provides equivalent to 130 man years for Agility Subsea Fabrication AS and the manifolds will predominantly be produced by the company’s base in Tønsberg. The contract is awarded for subsea development on the Shah Deniz field, located in the Caspian Sea outside Azerbaijan.
The delivery consists of four manifolds, four bottom structures and ten distribution units with the building planned to commence in May of this year. The first delivery is estimated for mid-March 2015 and the final delivery in October 2016.
