Polska Grupa Biogazowa (PGB) is a 50/50 joint venture between HitecVision and TotalEnergies. The company was founded in 2007, and is the largest biogas producer in Poland, operating a portfolio of combined heat and power plants that convert bio-waste into heat and electricity. The company targets 2 TWh of production by 2030 and is expanding its business across the value chain into biomethane purification and grid injection.
