Celsio

Hafslund Celsio is Norway’s largest district heating company, covering about 30% of Oslo’s heating demand. In January 2025, Celsio initiated the construction of a full-scale carbon capture plant at its largest waste-to-energy facility. The project forms part of Longship, Norway’s full-chain carbon capture and storage programme, and will cut a substantial share of Oslo’s CO₂ emissions.
