Erlend Basmo Ellingsen
Managing Partner and CEO
Erlend Basmo Ellingsen is Managing Partner and CEO, and a permanent member of the Investment Committee. He joined HitecVision in 2016 and played a central role in developing HitecVision’s E&P companies, before leading the firm’s strategic pivot to the energy transition and has been instrumental in the build-up of several portfolio companies in the New Energy Program. He focuses on the strategic development of the company, including capital formation efforts, as well driving the overall investment program, being close to activities across origination, value creation and exits. Before joining HitecVision, Erlend held various positions within M&A, strategy and business development at Equinor.
Erlend holds an MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, USA, and a BSc in Engineering from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse, France.
