Christian Velasco

Christian Velasco joined HitecVision 2026. He has nearly twenty years of investment experience across Europe and the Americas, with a career focused on decarbonisation, digital infrastructure and mobility. Before HitecVision, Christian was a Managing Director at DigitalBridge, where he led the development of a new investment strategy and the origination of mid-market investments across Europe and North America. He was previously a member of AMP Capital’s infrastructure team in London. He has worked across the full investment cycle, from origination and corporate carve-outs to building platforms, financing and leading complex restructurings, and has served on the boards of several portfolio companies.

He began his career in Latin America, investing in and financing assets across energy, infrastructure, mining and real estate, and founding and building businesses of his own. He also held roles at the Central Bank of Peru.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelors of Science in Economics & Finance from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.
